Scott's Words of Wisdom |
I Am Here to Help You Succeed! February 25, 2009 Category: General |
How do I help my clients? Each client I train reaches his or her goal. They are able to do so through one vital message. That message is that I believe in them and their ability to believe in themselves. I want all the members of this site to feel like they are building a relationship with me. By this I mean that I don't want this to be a website that my members will just log onto to get great health tips and workouts. I want all of you to know that I care about your results! Please feel free to ask questions and utilize the message boards and blogs. I can only help YOU if you tell me what YOU need! How can I have such a positive attitude? If you are not already familiar with the movie or book "The Secret" then I would highly recommend that you buy it. It will help you in every aspect of your life, not just the gym. The book was written by Rhonda Byrne and there is a movie about it as well. Basically "The Secret" talks about the "laws of attraction" also known as "The Power of Positive Thinking" The power of positive thinking teaches that if you have positive thoughts and actions they will attract other positive events to come into your life thus helping you reach your goals no matter what they may be. I teach my clients the power of positive thinking because I believe in it 100%. Think about it. Ever have a day that went from bad to worse? Now think real hard, when that first bad event happened on that day did you do something positive to forget about it or did you dwell on those negative feelings all day? Usually what happens is that we think a lot about what we don't want rather than what we do want. For example: You are running late for work and don't want to hit every red light on the way. But guess what happens? You hit every red light and get stuck in traffic! Was it coincidence? No, it is the law of attraction! Positive thoughts and actions attract other positive thoughts and actions just as negative thoughts and actions attract other negative thoughts and actions. Check out http://whatisthesecret.tv/link-to-us.html for more details What can I do to help focus on my goals? I highly recommend that everyone who uses this site fills in a goal journal. When writing in your goal journal you are physically manifesting what you seek. It is no longer a thought lingering around in your head. The more you write down or see your goals, the more you will focus on them and the more likely events in your life will start to unfold to make those goals possible. You can even hang a cork board in the kitchen and pin up pictures of things you want. Whatever you can do to put what you want in clear view everyday, do it. Try it! And I promise you will succeed! |

I've been training pretty hard for the past year or so and began noticing that my gains had really slowed down. Plus, I had been struggling to cut just a little more body fat. I had a "diet" mentality and it was (as I later learned) counter-productive. I felt I was eating very...
